This beautiful Greek Alexander the Great Gold Stater 323- 317 BC, is authenticated and graded by ICG (Independent Coin Grading company) as an EF45 (Extremely Fine). Please note that both the Obverse and Reverse sides of this rare hammered Gold Stater coin depict the most ideal well-centered strikes on this 2,323 year old Extremely Fine specimen.

Years ago, I purchased this Gold Stater on eBay and the original eBay Seller summed it up best in his description, "A fabulous, valuable and highly desirable Stater of Alexander the Great 323- 317 BC. Minted in his lifetime in Abydus (Gold booty from Darius the Persian King). This ICG EF45 authenticated and genuine gold stater is a fantastic coin and has given me pleasure over the years."

I will add to that by expressing the same sentiments regarding this highly-collectable and historically-significant coin.

Please closely examine the eBay listing photographs to satisfy yourself as to the condition and grade of this Gold Coin.

This collectable Ancient Alexander the Great Gold Stater is part of my private collection which I am selling, while expanding my collection of PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) Medieval Hammered Coinage.

I only accept bids from the US, UK, Canada, Austrailia and New Zealand.

International packages are shipped via FedEx. Domestic packages are shipped via 2-Day FedEx. Shipping, Signed Confirmation and Tracking are paid by the seller.
