AlphaSmart Dana Laptop-PDA Hybrid w/ Palm OS 4.1.2

You are bidding on an AlphaSmart Dana Laptop-PDA Hybrid.  It has little wear, except for a few small scratches and some sticker residue on the underside. It includes a stylus and rechargeable battery, but has no cords, cables or accessories.  We were able to power it up, calibrate the screen and navigate it's native applications. When we held down the power button for a couple of seconds, the backlight lit brighter. We plugged a USB cable in and charged the battery a bit with it. We do not know how much of a charge the battery will hold or if it will continue to function. It can be replaced with three AA batteries.  We were unable to determine what software we needed to sync it to our test computer. We otherwise lack the means to test it and cannot guarantee further functionality.  It seems some models of the Dana have 802.11b capability. We see no indication that this is one of those.   We found a webpage with information for this model, available by clicking here. Why this type of Warranty? Sunnking Inc, is an Electronics Recycler selling used surplus equipment to the eBay marketplace. Among the thousands of old 486 computers that we recycle, we also see a lot of unique items that are great for eBay. Because the range of equipment is so large (computers, test equipment, lab, and medical equipment to name a few), we do not always know what we have.
We do as much research about each item as possible and try to know a little about a lot of things. With regards to testing items, we may not always be able to or do not have the resources at our facility to verify the functionality status of certain items. A lot of the time, a simple power up test is all we can describe. We therefore rely on you, the customer, to know if it will work for your application as well as technically support the product. We ask our Technicians to describe an item to the best of their ability and provide as much information as they can. Obviously, information can be missed, and we are always happy to provide additional information upon request during any auction.

Warranty Description: Sunnking guarantees all of it's auction items to be as described. It is our guarantee that if you (the customer) can verify the product was not "as described," a full refund will be issued upon return of the unit to Sunnking. Our products are listed based on two major descriptors, Physical Condition and Working Condition which are defined Here. If you receive an item that does not match either the Physical Condition or Working Condition, the product may be returned for a refund.

Working Conditions

	Item does not hold a working status, i.e. a book.
	Item cannot be powered up or tested due to power requirements, lack of equipment to test, or specific technical knowledge. This does not mean the unit(s) is dead, it might be dead, it might work perfectly or partially - we do not know. If you buy, pay for and recieve an item described as unknown working condition and it does not work, we will not issue an RMA number for return.
	Item is verified to power up, i.e. the light(s) came on, the fan spins, or some electrical component receives power as described in the auction. No specific functional testing was performed or guaranteed.
	One or more specific testing procedure was performed as indicated in the auction and we guarantee it to do so when received. Items in this category are not tested to be fully working (as new from the factory), that type of item would be classified as Working (see below).
	Item powers up, passes testing requirements, and works perfectly.
