You are seeing the incredible rare wooden, black covered, latching case (and nice vintage Altec version of this famous "birdcage mic)! This is the case collectors can never find--the 2 mic, dual space unit in remarkable original condition! The mic is working and the XLR pigtail (included) is simply connected by gator clips. There is NO YOKE/MOUNT included. The mic is great but you also get this sought-after case. Mic and case are offered as-is, as-shown in photos. Grille cloth looks stock and no breaks or repairs to the mic. These came from the classic Universal Recording studios in Chicago (see inventory tags!). I was told that this mic may have been used on Count Bassie sessions...no way to prove it though. I am sure Bruce Swedien may have recorded with it and Quincy Jones worked there at times as well...just some trivia! Free shipping in US48. P.S. Case is dusty and will clean up well.
