Original Altered Art Card Mixed Media ACEO You are bidding on an original altered art card ACEO. ACEO is the acronym for Art Cards Editions and Originals. ACEOs are wonderful, affordable, miniature works of art collected around the world. This card is 2 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall. It is made on a standard playing card. The background is vintage book text which has been edged with luminous gold paint. The image is a vintage image reprint. The word "nelda ream" is a watermark for copyright purposes on the picture only. It is not on the ACEO. This ACEO has a dangle on the bottom which is made from a vintage chandelier crystal and a collaged tag. The small tag has been hand stamped and edged with gold paint. The back of the small tag has been stamped with the word, "hope". The hanger is made from gold colored wire. It adds another two inches to the length making the overall length about 8" long. The back of the card is covered with vintage book paper. It is signed and dated by the artist. This card would make a lovely gift to anyone you would like to encourage with a word of hope, or just as a "thinking-of-you" gift.
