Up for bid is an Art Squared, Altered Art, Mixed Media - Collage - "The Witching Hour." It measures 6 inches by 6 inches. I started this piece of art with a tile honoring the State Capitol of Austin, Texas. I added chipboard to the back of the tile. Then I added 2 types of scrapbook paper, mulberry paper, a reproduction of a vintage image, gold ribbon forming a frame around the image, mesh, rhinestones, star buttons, and wording backed on found paper. I added a border around the tile of maroon ribbon shot with gold in the center. It gives the artwork a more finished look. It is sealed with a coating of matte mod-podge (glue).
I purposefully left the front of the tile depicting Texas free of any art. It really has nothing to do with the artwork I did - I figured someone may enjoy the front!
This piece of art is heavy. Shipping may seem to be a little high but please keep this in mind!
This piece of art will be mailed in a bubble wrap and between 2 pieces of cardboard for protection. You will receive a Certificate of Authenticity with date, signature and numbered.
