For your consideration a beautiful Alvarez 5 string banjo...This instrument is beautiful...I am not a musician and do not know much about banjos but this is a beauty...The Back is Mahogany in color...The neck is a a lighter color on the back, but the frat board is dark...Pearl inlay on the top of the neck, the word Alvarez and a pretty design all inlayed.....The back is also inlayed....If you check the back of the instrument you will find that all the tuners are not the same kind...Looks like some were replaced....The front show playing wear still very nice ....The back of the instrument is beautifully finished with pear inlay all around....My client says this instrument was bought new in 1967...He no longer has any written prove of purchase...I see no model number or serial number any where on the instrument.....Any help in helping with the age or model of this instrument would be very appreciated...We are selling this instrument ..As Is.....No returns....
