Bechstein 7' 8" Grand Piano!
This is a rare and valuable Bechstein grand that is being offered for sale. Made in the early 1900's, it was once in a castle in England, was gifted to a relative in California, and is now being offered for sale. The case is made of Brazilian Rosewood, a very striking wood with deep red tones and contrasting black grain. The action of this piano, including the hammers and other action parts, are in excellent condition. Original soundboard and bridges are in excellent condition and produce a strong, clear sustaining tone. The action has been regulated and plays smoothly and evenly. The pianos has just been restrung, with new tuning pins and strings, and Bechstein's unique green understring felt ordered directly from Bechstein. It looks amazing inside, as the pictures show. The case is in good condition, certainly presentable as is, with some sun damage on the left side (long, straight side) and on the music desk. While it doesn't necessarily need it now, it could be refinished and be an even more stunning showpiece in any home. This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of Bechstein history!
