American Bosch Art Deco Table Wood Case BC Tube Radio Model 205-A

Up for auction is an excellent 1932 American Bosch Art Deco, Table wood case, BC tube radio model 205-A or 205A. This beauty is in excellent working condition and is operating as it should. As you can see in the pictures, the wood case is just excellent with a beautiful and natural gloss except a few minor scratches and nicks from use. The wooden case has a few tight cracks but they were all repaired and glued back. The BC or AM band works great and all the stations come in clear, loud and accurate with just a very slight hum when the volume is turned all the way down and that's normal for a 77-Year old tube radio, please note that an external antenna is required. I was able to pick-up some of the South East WI AM stations such as 620 WTMJ, 920 WOKY, 1130 WISN and also few Illinois AM channels such as 560 WIND, 720 WGN, 780 WBBM, 890 WLS and much more. The (2) knobs are 100% original and in place. The (2) metal Bosch escutcheons are missing. The grille cloth is reproduction and looks great. All tubes test well and strong.
