The National Military Family Association (NMFA) helps prepare spouses and children of American troops, including those who have been deployed, wounded or fallen in action, to deal with the challenges unique to military life. NMFA provides such initiatives as free camps and after-school programs that provide coping skills for children of deployed servicemembers, spouse scholarships, and funds to help support various military community programs.
I began giving these American Flag pillowcases to serving sons and daughters of friends and then began giving them local organizations to auction or to give to Armed Forces members when I realized how much they were appreciated. Neither the giver or the receiver will have a dry eye.
By offering them to others and donating 50% of the selling price to a worthy Arm Forces Charity, hopefully others will be able to share my experience. We do owe the men and women who serve much more than we can ever return.
The pillowcase is a white, standard size (30" x 20") 180 count, 55% cotton/45% poly. The design is approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is placed just above the hem in the center.
