The book is "American Infrared Survey" A Celebration of Infrared Photography ~ Edited by Stephen Paternite and David Paternite ~ Published by Photo Survey Press Publishing, Akron, Ohio ~ Copyright, 1982 ~ Out of print for many years, a very limited number of books were retained by the publisher and have been signed on the title page by co-editor/publisher, Stephen Paternite. The book measures 8-1/2" x 10" and contains 88 pages with 80 photographic illustrations (71 duotone and 9 in full-color) printed by Gardner/Fulmer Lithograph Co., Buena Park, California ~ ISBN: 0-9609812-0-9 (softcover) ~ published in a limited edition of 2000 ~ "American Infrared Survey" was included in "The Art of Photography, A Basic Library" compiled by George M. Craven for The Friends of Photography, Carmel, Ca. The Friends of Photography published this list of "must have photography books" to provide their members with a comprehensive bibliography that identified photography books of enduring interest.......... Amy Schiffman, Editor of American Photographer Magazine, said this about the book.........."This small but highly professional-looking volume is the result of a project that the two photographer brothers undertook in 1981. They both work in infrared, so they called for entries of infrared images by photographers across the country by running ads and notices in magazines.
