You are bidding on an American Optical Microtome!  The unit is model 880 and comes previously owned but was in proper working order when last used.  It is portable and clamps to the edge of a table.  NOTE: the top handle does not seem to fit on the unit which is why it is shown separate.  We do not have a lot of information on this unit so please view the photos below for more detail, and we will do our best to answer questions regarding the unit.  This Model 880 Microtome seems to be quite rare and would be a great find for a collector and is still operable for practical research or laboratory use.
