This is an outstanding American rosewood center table from the early third quarter of the 19th century. It measures 44 1/2" wide, 30 1/2" deep, and 29 1/2" tall. The table is a very rich dark colored rosewood. The base has been professionally refinished and is solid, sturdy and in excellent to near mint condition. The  marble top is original, it has a seam next to one end (pictured front and back in the last two pictures), at first I thought it was natural figuring of sediment in the marble but looking at the back I see that it is and excellent older repair that probably broke on a seem in the marble; it is not really noticeable and does not take away from the table.

Often buying furniture online from pictures and written descriptions can be disappointing, that is not the case with this table. This is a beautiful, high quality table with a wonderful presentation when viewed in person.

I prefer to be paid with PayPal. I live about 20 miles north of Denver and will deliver the table to any shipping company within a 30 mile radius for no charge.  But because of the size and weight of the piece I will not provide packaging and  shipping. Relay Mail (25 miles north of me) has worked very well for me and people I know that have used them. Craters and Freighters has an established reputation in Colorado for providing good service but they are more expensive.
