PAYMENT: 7% sales tax is added to items shipped to a NJ residence. The tax is applied to both the item and the shipping charges. I accept PayPal and payment is expected within 7 days.

SHIPPING: If you have a preferred method of delivery, I will be happy to use it as long as you let me know at auction’s close and agree to pay the fee charged by that carrier. Otherwise I will use a carrier of my choice. I do add a nominal amount to cover shipping materials.

COMMUNICATION: As you can see from my feedback score and comments I am a very accommodating seller. The terms stated below are, in part, to protect me in the event that a fair attempt to work with an unhappy buyer does not satisfy them. I am not an expert so if any item is not “as described” in my auction page, your sole recourse is to ask for a refund under my “Return & Refund Policy,” described below. RISK OF LOSS: In the event that the item(s) is lost, damaged or destroyed during any part of the transaction, whether or not in my control, my only liability or obligation to you will be to refund promptly any monies I have received from you. If you opt not to insure I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for any loss, theft, or damage to any item after delivering the item to the carrier. TO NON-US BUYERS: Your purchase may be subject to various taxes, duties, payments, etc. required by the law of your country. These fees are your responsibility and will not be paid by me. Please do not ask me to put any other amount on the customs form than the actual sale amount. NONPAYING BIDDERS: If you are the winning bidder and fail to contact me or pay for the item(s) according to eBay’s terms, I will presume you are a nonpaying bidder, your purchase will be canceled, you will receive negative feedback from me and you will be barred from ever bidding again on my auctions. DISPUTES: In the event of any dispute involving one of our eBay auctions, you agree to submit the dispute to eBay’s mediation service before leaving negative or neutral feedback for me. By bidding on any of my auctions, you irrevocably agree that any dispute, conflict, or controversy between you and Gotta Love My sCrap will take place only in a court of law located in Morris County, State of NJ, USA, and will be governed by the laws of the State of NJ that apply to contracts between residents of that State. RETURN & REFUND POLICY: If you feel an item has been incorrectly described on my auction page, please e-mail me within 7 days after the auction closing and explain why you feel that way. If I agree, you will return the item to me in exactly the condition it was when we delivered it to the carrier. When I receive the item back from you, I will refund you money, less sales tax, shipping, and delivery charges, promptly but no later than 14 days after I receive the item. If any item is returned to me in a condition different from the condition it was in when I delivered it to the carrier, or if I believe in good faith that the item returned is not the same as the item I shipped you, I will notify you and return the item to you without a refund. Except for the above return and refund policy, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Requests for returns or refunds made after 14 days following the auction closing date will be honored only in my sole discretion based on compelling evidence that I was at fault.
