Calculating Shipping Days
Ever wonder what the term "Business Days" actually means? Well, for those who are
new to shipping terms, it means a package will ship or "move" during the 5 working
or business days which are Monday through Friday, so always exclude Sat and Sun.
Also, where the package is sent makes a difference as well. If you are in the East
Coast, you'll get it faster than if you are in the West Coast. See the example below:
If you purchased an item on Sunday Jan 6th & selected the 4-10 business days shipping. Your order will be dropped off on Monday morning at the local post office or shipping outlet.
The first business day to start counting from is Tue, Jan 8th (Exclude Sat+Sun when counting)
So accordingly, the estimated day of delivery will be on or before Jan 22st. Late Delivery or Lost Packages:
We ship right away! Same or next day. So, any delays in shipping are not in our control. Shipping times/delivery estimates are provided by the carrier based on their experience. Shipped items may experience delays due to weather condition, busy seasons or holidays. Also for U.S. Buyers, U.S. Customs can delay the release of your order to U.S. Postal Services. Items shipped to Hawaii or Alaska may experience longer shipping times due to distance.
No need to worry! It's very rare that our shipments are ever delayed or lost. That been said, in the rare case that a package is lost, we'll use Canada Post's insurance to pay for the lost package and we can either refund that amount back to you or send the same item again.
