Ames 7 in 1 Planter's Buddy, Ames True Temper offers a gardening tool for one hand that can perform seven different tasks. This small mulit-purpose tool fits comfortably in your hand and almost says "Let’s Go".

This hand tool is about the same size as most hand trowels. It functions as a weeder, sod cutter, twine cutter, bag opener, ruler, tamper, and trowel. The handle is also long enough for you to grip it comfortably, turn it upside down, and use the flat end to tamp down, or hammer in wood stakes or landscape staples.

The trowel/transplanter readily digs into the soil. The serrated edge quickly cuts through bags of mulch and topsoil. Watch out, though, this edge is rather sharp as is the opposite edge. The other side is a five-inch stainless steel blade. If you need to cut a little sod or cut through remnant roots in the soil, this makes the task swift and painless.

This is a small but valuable hand tool. It is a multi-tasking trowling-weeding-measuring-bag-ripping-tamping-sod-cutting-twine-cutting little eager beaver. All fun aside, this is a serious hand tool that longs to accompany you into the garden.
