The History was first published in 1936 by The LaGrange Journal, this book is a reprint of that history, it was published in the 1990's, I am not sure of the exact date. Book cover the Texas Revolution, The Civil War, People, Civil War rosters, Churches, Masonic Lodges, and more. Index has names with pages. In the back of the book are some handwritten notes on notebook paper about William P. Smith, 1795-1870, Ordained Methodist Minister. Great Book!
