History

God Anubis leads Hunefer into the Hall of Justice, where his heart, in other words his conscience, is weighted against the feather of Maat, symbol of order, justice and truth. Anubis checks the tong of the balance while the monster known as the eater of the dead, looks on. God Thoth records the results. God Horus then leads Hunefer towards the shrine in which God Osiris sits on the throne, behind him are his two sisters Goddess Isis and Goddess Nephthys
