This item is guaranteed to be an authentic ancient Viking item dated from from 900 to 1200 years old. The typical generally accepted dates for the Viking period are roughly the 300 years ending in 1077 A.D. I have viewed these items under a microscope to aid in authentication. I have also sold many of these items to several museums and they are on display there now.

Are your artifacts properly preserved? I have recently started selling a product that was developed and is being used by the British Museum to preserve artifacts. It is my belief that this product should be used on bronze and iron artifacts (and many others) after they are cleaned. I offer this product in my store under the "coin cleaning supplies" category to the left. If you have not put anything on your artifacts to protect them, you might want to read up on this product. This product is used by museums worldwide.

I also have a friend that does excellent restoration work on artifacts. You can see some of his pottery and/or ring restorations by searching in my store for "Repaired" in the search box to the left. If you have a repair job like broken pottery or a ring you want cleaned and re-sized or any other repair/restoration, let me know what you have and maybe I can help!
