This auction is for an Annette Funicello Collectible Amber and Austin Best Friends Bear 12". I recently bought these at an auction and am now selling them on ebay. I am not sure of there names and how limited their editions as I do not have boxes and papers. I think a collector would enjoy them so here they are. If you have any questions about the item or items, shipping, condition, anything that you would like to know about an item to help you make an informed decision as to whether to bid, please ask before bidding. Please, don’t bid quickly and then realize that it is really not what you want. Please, read the auction, most basic questions are answered, but if you find something that is not, please ask.

If you do not want to wait for an auction to end and IT HAS NO BIDS. Email me and I will put a buy it now on the auction if I get the email in time. I do not automatically put a buy it now on my auctions because of the added cost and the time it takes to decide exactly how much I will accept. I like the bidders to decide the worth, but if you really want to buy it now, I will oblige.
NEW 2-3 DAY PRIORITY MAIL RATES
I now charge the actual shipping cost that the post office charges me plus a handling charge of 69¢, so if shipping seems high talk to USPS, because the 69¢ is minimal when considering the time and the packing material that is sometimes required. I am not sure how many of you buy as well as sell, but the post office now charges a minimum of $4.60 for a priority envelope. The shipping cost of a small 6” X 9” X 10” flat rate box is $8.95; this is the actual cost. This box is literally smaller than a shoebox. A shoebox taped up weighing over 3lbs (two pairs of jeans) costs around $15 to ship to CA, WA or FL. If my shipping charges seem high, please try to ship something 2-3 day priority mail. So, if someone thinks I am getting rich on my shipping, this simply is not the case; I sometimes even lose money charging a flat rate.
SHIPPING VS. GAS PRICES
However, if this cost seems absolutely ridiculous, think of the gas (at $3.59 a gallon) and the time it takes to go out and find what you want! I ship it right to your door and because I always ship within 48 Hours if payment is made within 24 hours and almost always if it is made after that and because I ship using the expensive 2-3 Day Priority Mail, you receive your package within 5 Days of making your Payment and you may track its progress to you online. (If the United States Post Office’s online system is working; which it normally is.) This is why I receive so many positive feedbacks on my quick shipping, but some think the cost is a little high. My guess is that they have not experienced the new higher rates first hand and see other people who charge less but take forever to ship it to you.
PRIORITY SHIPPING VS. 2nd CLASS MAIL
Many e-bayer’s charge you the same $8 -$10 and make $5 bucks on shipping, by using everyday flat rate 2nd class shipping, which is cheap, but takes two weeks or more, so you don’t get your stuff for who knows how long and you cannot track it. You do not need to be extra thankful for my fast shipping, because you pay for it. I do this because when I buy something on e-bay I don’t want someone to make $5 on slow shipping, I want my stuff ASAP; I would rather that five bucks go to the US Post Office so that I get my stuff within a few days; I believe you do, too! But, please remember, these new rates are higher than ever and if I could ship it to you cheaper without losing the speed and ability to track I would, but I can’t.
SHIPPING EXPENSIVE ITEMS AND INSURANCE
Also note: If you notice the shipping is more than $10, then the item probably large or requires extra packing supplies because it is delicate and needs extra materials and care while packing, I charge more to ship things like this. I usually charge between $10 to $20 dollars, this also usually includes insurance and so that we can be sure that your item arrives in the condition it leaves. So, if the shipping charge states $15, it is because of the insurance, extra time, and extra cost. Let there be no confusion: I do not tack on an extra charge to the stated shipping price; the cost of shipping is stated as a flat rate to all buyers and does not change. I am simply explaining how I arrive at that amount.
COMBINED SHIPPING
I will combine shipping if you win more than one item, if I can get them in the same package or box. With lots (a group of cloths sold together – like an auction for 9 shirts or 6 skirts or 3 shirts & 3 shorts) I cannot combine shipping. These items require the entire priority box, I cannot combine shipping because the box is already full. I use the standard sizes provided by USPS Priority shipping, so if I can get all of the items into one size package or box then I charge the full shipping price for the first item and then an additional $2 for each item that I ship with it. The additional $2 per item allows for the additional time for handling and the extra weight, that sometimes increases the overall cost of postage, and if I sometimes have to repackage items that were previously packaged separately. If you are unsure if I can combine shipping, email me and I can tell you instantly so that you will not be disappointed later.
APO or FPO
If you are bidding from a military base APO or FPO; anywhere that requires me to go to the post office and personally fill out a customs form, I add $9.99 to the overall cost of shipping. I apologize for this extra fee, as I respect our men and women in the armed forces, but the post office I go to is not run as efficiently as our armed forces, because it takes a half an hour just to get stamps, let alone get and fill out customs forms. If you are bidding from an US address that is not actually within the US and it requires a customs form, please be prepared to pay this extra fee or please, do not bid.
PAYPAL
I wish everyone would use PAYPAL; PAYPAL is normally the only method of payment I accept, but if someone vehemently dislikes PAYPAL, then e-mail me and explain. If they have a good feedback score I will often open the bidding and accept a money order. I need to receive the money order within 10 days or I file a non-paying bidder report with e-bay. The buyer then has an additional 7 days before they receive a non-paying bidder strike against their account and the item is re-listed.
WHEN YOU GET YOUR ITEM or ITEMS
If you have some LEGITIMATE reason that you are not 100% satisfied that what is sent is other than what was described or we have somehow misrepresented an item, please contact and we will refund your money plus shipping (not the shipping to us) via paypal as soon as we receive the item back. We do not refund if something doesn’t fit. We refund if we have made an error in measuring or misrepresented the item. Thank you! I do not claim, any problem can be solved, but before you consider leaving negative feedback will you at least e-mail me your complaint. I have not received negative feedback in a very long time and would like to never receive another if possible. Anyone using e-bay knows you cannot please everyone, but I would at least like the opportunity to try.
