Published by Louisiana State University Press. 1987. 136 pp. Manufactured in Japan. First Printing with a full number line 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. HB/DW. GOOD in GOOD. There is a gift inscription on the FFEP. Then, on the Contents page, three of the houses have been marked/checked in ink. I saw no other markings in the text. The pages are still fresh. The tips are all lightly to moderately bumped. The spine is straight and squared. The binding is tight and secure. The dust wrap is in GOOD condition. The major flaws are at the head of the spine area where the film has separated and rolled from the paper and a 1/4" inch tear (open) at the tail/foot area. The price is not clipped but there is a small line (ink) going through the price. There is a scuff mark or stain on the front panel of the DJ between the G and I in Georgia which is nearly the same color as the lettering. The DJ is now in a protective mylar sleeve. This is a book of photographs with a small amount of text to give basic information and a small amount of history. I could list this book as photography, travel or architecture, but I'm going to go with travel because subject matter is limited to a specific area and not a specific style. And the photographs are used to inform more than they are to inspire. This is an over-sized book. The price includes any additional postage needed for domestic Media Mail. Additional postage--more than the usual--will be required for any international destinations or any Priority services. Contact seller for shipping quote. Proceeds from the sale of this book benefits Friends of Selby, a not-for-profit organization in SW Florida. Friends of Selby sponsors community programs and events to promote literacy among children and adults.
