Never a rental! VHS tape in case. On the MGM/UA label. Entire package is in great shape, looks and plays fine. I watched this myself - one darn good movie. Below is some info I came across about this - information from the Internet, deemed, but not guaranteed reliable.

ANTHONY ADVERSE is a sprawling, episodic, adventurous costume drama adapted from the Hervey Allen best-selling novel. The story follows the globetrotting saga of Anthony Adverse, the illegitimate heir to the fortune of his cruel stepfather, Don Luis. Luis leaves the boy in the hands of the church after killing his real father, and the church in turn deposits Anthony into the hands of his grandfather, a wealthy merchant. Anthony, now played by the debonair Fredric March, grows up to love the beautiful Angela (Olivia de Havilland), daughter of his grandfather's cook. But neither romance nor his rightful inheritance proves easy to achieve as Angela becomes a glamorous opera star and the mistress of Napoleon while Don Luis and his new wife, Faith (Gale Sondergaard, in an Oscar-winning performance), conspire against him. In spite of all the intricacies of the plot, it is the plushness of the production, the beautiful cinematography, and the mellifluous score by Erich Wolfgang Korngold that allow this epic picture to stand the test of time. The above shipping charges apply to all items that carry free shipping that are won in a 7 day period. All my auctions end Sunday night - I'm sorry, but no "carry over" from one week to the next.

The majority of the SINGLE items shipped to a USA destination are shipped First Class. Some VHS tapes and most VHS/DVD/CD box sets are shipped Media Mail. I cannot guarantee that an item will be sent First Class, it's STRICTLY a matter of what the package weighs. I will do everything to get your item(s) to the Post Office as soon as I can, HOWEVER I do not control how the USPS fufills their part of this transaction.

If you want your single item shipped Priority Mail, e-mail me at auction end and ask for a Priority shipping invoice. The additional cost for Priority shipping is $3.50 for INDIVIDUAL CD's, DVD's VHS and video games. Of course, items can be combined, email me at auction end, asking for an invoice.

Payment must be made within 3 days of auction end. 4 days after auction end, the Non Paying Bidder process with ebay with be started. Problems? Communicate and let me know! Communication is key.

Speaking of Maryland (and local DC & Virginia) residents, local pick up is DEFINITELY an option. However, PayPal is NOT an option payment for local pickups and you will have to pay Sales Tax regardless of where you live. Also, for local pick up, you can take a 10% discount (one dollar MINIMUM - not maximum) on the total. Tax will be based on the discounted total.

About e-mail and Feedback

I begin packaging items Monday after the auction ends. It may be Wednesday when your item ships. Paypal will email you notification when your item ships. That email will have your package's USPS Delivery Confirmation number.

I reply to posted feedback 2X a week. Feedback will be posted ONLY after you have posted feedback. I reply to 100% of all posted positive feedback! Please don't attempt extortion via feedback, it will be reported to ebay.

VERY IMPORTANT! If there's ANY reason you can't leave "five stars" when posting feedback, PLEASE contact me before leaving anything less then "five stars". Less then "five stars" is VERY bad for a seller and can (and will) get them suspended from selling. I aim to please.

IF someone has a problem (rare) with ANYTHING I've sold, and posts negative or neutral feedback BEFORE communicating and giving me a chance to make things "right" - my involvement with that transaction ends with the posted feedback.

Finally -in the case of buyers who bid on - and win - multiple FREE SHIPPING Media Mail-type auctions (CDs, DVD & VHS - NOT video games) that will be shipped together, I will rebate $1.00 (refund via Paypal within 24 hours) for each additional auction won and paid for! There is NO limit to how many auctions can be rebated. Please remember that Video Games DO NOT qualify for the rebate.

Three things:

1) These auctions MUST be paid for on ONE Paypal invoice (and shipped at the same time - sorry, no week-to-week)

2) I'm sorry, but in the case of multiple winnings, Priority Mail shipping is not an option for Media Mail type auctions.
