Low Prices?
If you're wondering about the ultra-low prices this week, I'm trying to clear everything out. My dream job (disaster relief) non-profit laid off my whole division, I'm trying to build a cushion fow when I stop getting a paycheck in three weeks. Please only bid, though, if you're in a good world karma state - I've got too much stress to deal with people who are looking to strike out at the world. It's not worth it to me, and I'd rather donate the item to charity than have a negative experience.
Shipping
For domestic parcels, I ship within 48 hours of cleared payment, and Paypal will send a shipping confirmation. I do not send separate notes unless there is an issue. Please hold any inquiries until 48 hours following your payment clearing + sufficient time for your parcel to move from my location to yours via your selected service.
I'm happy to combine shipping, and I do so by weight, not some arbitrary extra amount. Please send me your zip code and the description of the other item(s) that caught your fancy for a unified quote.
There is no delivery confirmation for international packages, so I will be prepared to show proof of shipping but cannot guarantee our post offices will cooperate. Mostly they do. You accept responsibility, though, if the post offices lose the item. Also, if you select the cheaper first class international shipping, it can take up to 7 days since I need to go to the post office to gain the less expensive rate.
If you need assurance your item will arrive safely, please buy insurance. The post office does a pretty good job, but once the item is shipped, you accept responsibility for anything that happens.
Note
I welcome most buyers, but please do not bid if you cannot follow the auction terms and 1) pay promptly or make prior arrangements; 2) contact me about anything you view as a discrepancy prior to leaving feedback; 3) be courteous and avoid name calling and looking for trouble; and 4) read all auction terms before bidding. I do this to supplement a non-profit income, and I'm just not looking for discourtesy and arguing and fighting. I'm sure there are plenty of sellers who are simply looking for money (like the ones who add $2-$5 for "handling"), but I believe in civil and cooperative community and want to maintain that civility in my own life. There are so many delightful people I've "met" through eBay, but the trouble-seeking rude ones are swiftly driving me off.
If I have to file a non-paying bidder report, I do follow with negative feedback so other sellers do not have to do extra work to get someone to honor his/her bid. It's sad to see people try to take advantage of this informal environment.
Let's be the best people we can be.
