You are bidding on a Nice Antique Cast Iron Sensible No. 5 Pointed Clothes Sad Iron with Wood Handle.
Nice condition with a little plating wear. Handle has most of original paint.

Great unusual long & narrow pointed teardrop shape iron. Spring release handle.
Weighs just under 4 pounds.
Marked: Sensible No. 5

Measures 4 7/16" tall (1 3/8" without handle) x 8 1/8" x 2 1/2".
