Unfortunately I have too many books and the weight if stressing my ceiling. So up for auction the books go . . . (B5)
Martin was pretty little to be concerned about four and sugar and butter and eggs. But Lincoln was big enough to sit down on the Capitol steps and fold the troubled boy into his spacious lap and share the burden in Martin’s heart. Martin was pretty little to fix a nail in the President’s shoe. But Lincoln was big enough to let him. Then there was Snowden, the vegetable man; Nellie, his mule; and that basket of “left overs” under the seat of his cart. A fine and tender story based on a true incident from the life of Lincoln.
Book and cover are both in very good condition. The book is approximately 9.25 x 7.25 by .25 inches in size. Minor shelf wear but much less than expected. The pages are clean and tight with many colorful pictures. A great book to enjoy with a child or for book collecting.
