This auction is for a wonderful antique doll body.  The cloth body is of heavy mattress ticking fabric, and still has dark brown cotton boots, and remnants of tan silk stockings.  the boots and stockings were sewn on over the ticking fabric.  The legs are jointed mid-thigh.  The body is in very good condition except for the wear on boots and stockings.

This body would take a shoulder head of bisque, china, tin metal, composition or celluloid.  The body is 13" long, and should take a shoulderhead of about 3-1/2" tall.  It doesn't have arms, but could take arms of bisque, china, composition, cloth or leather.  Please see photo for details and ask questions prior to bidding.
