You are bidding on an 18ct gold signet ring, which at times would have been used to seal official Church correspondence or documents. It is Hallmarked and dated 1903, as you can see in the pictures below; the ring is beautifully hand engraved. It was made 105 years ago. No further history or provenance can be provided.

 

The rings table (top surface) was hand engraved with a deep crown underneath the cross; in ecclesiastic art, the crown represents the unimaginable bliss that awaits those who arrive at Heaven. The ring shoulders show normal wear to the design, but the condition is very good commensurate with its great age.

 

The USA ring size is size 6.5, and it weighs 8.5 grams of 18ct gold.
