INSURANCE: - Insurance is included in the shipping and handling cost. Please note that I test every item before listing them and a second time before packing them. I pack all items very well. Since we are dealing with old and sensitive items damage can occur in shipping very easily. Regardless of the amount of bubblewrap we use damage can occur just by rough handling. I will do my best to prevent this. Often older clocks that are not working upon arrival just need a minor adjustment to get to working condition again - please email me if you have any issues. I have been able to get "nonworking" clocks working again in 95% of all cases via a few emailed instructions or quick phone call.  In the event that an item, costing $25 or more, is received in damaged condition the buyer must return the item to me along with photos of the as-received damaged item so that I may file a claim. Refunds will be given to the buyer by me personally once the item and as-received photos are received by me. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. For items that are LOST or NOT RECEIVED a claim can only be made with the post office after it is missing for 30+ days. Post office tracking must confirm non-delivery. Claims for Lost Items will be made by me 45 days after the scheduled delivery date. Refunds will only be provided upon receipt of compensation from the post office for the lost item.

FOREIGN DELIVERY INSURANCE is not available through the US Post Office when sent via first class international mail. Therefore all items will go Priority International Mail - Insured. If the foreign buyer insists an item can go first class mail with no insurance but the item must be valued at less than $50 and weigh less than 4 pounds. All risk associated with delivery by this method will be with the buyer - the shipping cost is, of course, much less than priority mail. All overseas items valued at $50 or more or weighing more than 4 pounds must go Priority International Mail which can be insured and will be covered by the maximum standard Priority Mail Insurance available for each country, based on the items final sale value, excluding shipping. Buyer will be required to file a claim with their local postal carrier if an item is lost or damaged. I will provide the information you need to file a claim.

EMAIL FOR FOREIGN SHIPPING RATES .Shipping quotes will be provided for both insured and non-insured methods of shipping. All Invoices will be sent using priority mail with insurance.  If the buyer demands that insurance be deleted in order to send the item via first class international mail then this request must be made at the time of payment using the PAYPAL MESSAGE SYSTEM.  The reduced cost for non-insured shipping will be returned to the buyer via a partial refund. Please note that any items shipped OUT OF THE USA with a total value (item plus shipping) over $250 must be sent Express Mail with Signature Confirmation. This additional cost will be reflected in shipping quotes only if the anticipated cost is over $250.
