Hello, wonderful 36" cane, cane has a locking mechanism and ornate silver decoration on handle. It is in excellent condition, it is ornate and  inscribed "Non ti fidar di me" on one side and  "se il cor ti manca" on the other, this translates to "Trust not in me if your heart be faint", the silver is monogrammed/marked with a name/initials.
