Antique Carved Wood Victorian Sideboard

Estate sale find, this is a lovely 2 piece sideboard that features carved wood patterns on the doors, turned posts on the front of the lower and upper cabinet and decorative carved trim around the backsplash. 

The sideboard easily comes apart for moving.  The two posts on the top piece fit into holes on the top of the bottom piece and then is attached with screws in the back.   The top piece has a beautiful arched back splash and shelf. 

The bottom of the cabinet has two doors that open to an unfinished interior with one shelf.  The curved front drawer has dovetailed construction.  There is a wear mark on the finish where the doors close and also on the bottom edge wear the doors have rubbed the wood opening and closing (see pics).  There is what looks like a drip mark on the turned front piece on the bottom right and to the right and a little behind that turned piece there is a spot where it looks like the wood was chipped.  Some of these spots could be touched up by matching the finish.  There are also some age cracks on the top of the bottom piece that are partly covered by the top.  Also some wear marks to the finish on the bottom edges.  I know it sounds like a lot of things wrong and I wanted to point them out, but this is still a beautiful piece that could be displayed as is now. 

Not sure what the wood is, maybe walnut but I really don't know. It has a dark stain.  Measures 40" long, 15" deep, about 32" tall to top of bottom cabinet, 55" tall to top of backsplash.  Nice narrow dimension to fit along the wall of a diningroom, hallway, etc.
