 Good day; for your consideration is this very nice, antique cast iron 20 pound weight. I hate to say but I can not tell for sure what the intended use for this beauty was, (I will post any and all ideas). I can only make a few suggestions, since it weighs in at 20 # (my large scale only read 1/4 pound increments) it could be a scale weight, or it could be a windmill weight. It also could have been made for a buggy or wagon weight, (to tie the lead rope or reins to when hitching post is not available). This little cast iron gem is approx. 7" tall, 5" wide, and 3" thick, if nothing else it does make a great door stop. There are some numbers and letters cast in it, which might help you decide what it is (can be seen better in the next picture). This item ships to United States only, and is also available for local pick up. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask, and I will do my best to answer them.
