You are bidding on a vintage antique wooden ishing lure.  This lure is made of wood and measures about 4" long.  The lure is painted gold with black gill lines.  Features glass eyes and three sets of three prong hooks.  Condition appears to be extremely good, with no significant damage that I can see (see photo).   Please let me know if you can provide any other info on this item.  Thanks!

I have been told by several people that this is an early Heddon lure dating to the early 1900s (circa 1905).

A: This is what I would call a small nick, extending to the underlying wood. I do not see any other areas of paint loss extending to the underlying wood, but there are some light scuff marks or "scratches" to the paint... Continue reading
