Antique AE Automatic Electric Bakelite Wall Telephone

This vintage wall phone is in very good condition. It's unrestored. I hooked it to my phone line and it does seem to work - it dialed out, rang and received a call. I've done no further testing. There is one flaw on top (see close-up). It looks like a burned spot. The Bakelite is discolored around that small gap. Rest of phone looks good. Bakelite case and handset are in good shape with no cracks or breaks.
