Huge African Antique Hand Carved Ironwood Sculpture of a Chief.  The sculpture is very heavy as it is made from a single peice of Ironwood.  Ironwood is the hardest wood in the world and very difficult to carve.  The wood is a beautiful red color tone and has natural wood lines throughout.  The top of the head is cracking and I will send more pictures if you provide an email address.

This peice was purchased from an African Art Gallery in Fort Lauderdale for $6700.00.  The dimensions are H 67 x 30 x 25

This African Art peice is a great investment at this time as value in Art is consistently beating Wall Street and Property investments.  African Art has increased in value significantly over the past 20 years and it is always a sound investment.
