Greetings. This is an antique African ceremonial axe which has a wooden carved handle and a splayed metal blade which comes from the Songe - Luba region of Africa. This amazing African artifact was also used as money in trade. This specimen measures 16 inches long x 9 inches wide. This specimen is very desirable and would make a fine addition to any African culture collector's treasure trove.
