The Orlando Private Collection has
been selected to liquidate the assets of an estate in Northern Orange County. The
Jackson estate has been owned by only one family. We are very excited to have
been chosen as there is a wide variety of antiques and collectibles. The
Jackson's were married in 1943. They were both proud to serve in the military
during WW II. The couple had 3 children, 2 grandchildren and 3 great
grandchildren.
Up for consideration from the estate is
a solid agate inkwell and stamp box. The agate has luscious creamy sunset
colors in it and when held to the light it warmly glows. It is cut and
highly polished to a brilliant sheen. The estate appraiser believes the set to
be most likely over a hundred years old. One small chip on one of the pointed
corners that can be polished out of the well. The box is without chips, cracks
or repairs. These could be cut from the same agate stone. Extremely rich
and impressive.
