| THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on an Antique Oil Painting & Gilded Carved Frame. This piece is a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty. It dates back to the Mid-Late 20th Century and was done and signed by very well listed American School artist Cesare Riccardi (1892-1988) from Philedelphia, PA. This is a very well listed American School artist who is listed in the Davenport and various other art indexes. It is a Oil on Board or Panel Canvas that depicts a beautiful Coastal Seascape with Ocean waves braking at the rocks in a impressionist art form which is what the artist was known for. This painting was done with great detail in both color and clarity. The subject of the painting is very unusual and a rare find with surreal mannerism and impressionst art forms on Seascapes which was done so well with beautiful brush strokes in the painting. The artist was a TRUE MASTER, because we see great care and SKILL in the painting down to its finest details. With paintings of this caliber you can see the amount of care and attention the artist put into the piece and accomplished quite a bit here. I am not an art expert and took as many pictures as I can to make your own determination as this came from a private estate on Long Island and the estate it came from were very fond lovers of antique art. We are not sure of how old this painting is but there is some age to the canvas and shows some minor imperfections and can use some professional touch up. The frame is nicely recessed and gilded as well and also has wear with its age. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today but Please understand that this is an antique and has some minor imperfections on it with its age as stated and shown in the pictures but overall its in excellent shape. Using your own shipper:
You
may use your own shipper, however please note that
Antique Furniture Depot does not provide any packing
services, and will not crate, wrap or pad your
item, and a $25 handling fee will
apply.
Local
Pick UP:
Item(s) must be picked up
within 30 days of auction ending, a
$25 handling fee will apply, as well as NY
State Sales Tax. Our warehouse hours are M-F 10am-6pm and we normally
open one Saturday per month,
please give us 72 hours advance notice prior to
desired pick up date. Any items left after
30 days will be assessed $25 per week,
per auction for storage. For all pick ups
please bring your own blankets, pads and any other
material you may need to secure your item(s). Any items
left over 120 days, if there are no prior
arrangements made, then the sale will be forefeited and no refunds will be
issued.

On all painting shipments, insurance
will be required. Shipping insurance
does not cover any scratches, dings, or minor
scuffs and is only for total damage or
loss of item. Please provide us with a day and evening phone number(s) so that once the items arrive in your state we can schedule your delivery in a timely manner. When the item(s) leave our warehouse you will be notified via email that the item has in fact been shipped and we will include the carriers name who will contact you directly to arrange exact delivery date and time.

without first receiving a packing and shipping

changes. We will accept all major credit cards,
wire transfers, check or money order. Any international checks of any kind will have to be confirmed and cleared prior to shipping. For ALL International Bidders we will ship to your nearest port. Please expect shipment to take a minimum of 6-8 weeks and can take longer barring any unforseen delays.
