SHIPPING – PAYMENT – HANDLING – INSURANCE
The following terms are are important. Please read them carefully.
Item(s) will be shipped within 3 business days from receipt of Pay Pal transfer, money order, or personal check (allow 7-10 days to clear). IMPORTANT: All successful bidders/purchasers must wait for an invoice prior to making payment (failure to wait for an invoice may result in shipping delays and/or additional collection fees). Your item will be packaged and weighed so the exact amount of postage and insurance can be determined. All fragile items weighing 5 pounds or less will be shipped by priority mail. International buyers are responsible for any tariffs, duty, and excise taxes levied by their country. We do not adjust values (please do not ask). Successful Buyers pay for shipping, handling, and insurance. If the buyer desires double boxing, there will be a surcharge of $5 (this may be required for fragile items on uninsured international purchases). There is a minimum $3.00 handling fee on all packages. If an item requires special handling fees the amount will appear in the main description. Shipping and handling on multiple purchases can be combined at $3.00 for the first item plus $1.50 per additional item plus the actual cost of shipping and insurance. Local pick ups are welcome by appointment, and the minimum handling fee and applicable sales tax will be applied to total. Payments must be received within 10 days from successful bid. California residents will be charged 8.25% sales tax unless you have a valid resale permit.
Insurance is strongly recommended on any fragile item. Insurance is required on any item that sells for more than $50. On items under $50 insurance is extra and at the sole discretion of the buyer. We do not make refunds for broken or lost items, so please spend the extra money for insurance if you value the item you are buying. It's not that much extra and well worth it. We are not responsible for uninsured items.
International bidders: A limited amount of insurance is included with Airmail Parcel Post. If you want insurance please send us an email when the auction or sale is closed so we can make sure that option is included in your invoice. Insurance may be available with economy surface parcel post depending on the destination country. Insurance is not available with letter post options.

All the items sold by Music Box Maker on ebay are previously owned and are to be considered used unless otherwise stated in the description. Some of the items I sell may be still in the box and look new, but they have all been purchased by me from auctions, estate sales, or here on ebay. The music boxes offered for sale will have complete descriptions and pictures and are in working condition (unless stated otherwise). Some items have been serviced or repaired or restored. A Music Box Maker Vintage Custom music box is usually a box (made by others) that has been modified in a significant manner, for example, an empty vintage wooden box (or most any other combination of materials) which is then transformed into a music box. It may have a brand new or a vintage musical movement. Vintage Customs will be stamped and numbered and dated with year in which created. The musical tune can be personalized in most 18 note music boxes by selecting a tune from the in stock song list (an additional charge will apply).
