This lot is a print from my collection. It was housed in a  frame and removed for close inspection. What an indeavor !!! Someone had taken a shot at "restoring", or at least "nearly destroying", this breathtaking work of art.

  I am making this lot available in hopes of at least a partial return on my initial investment. Whoever framed it made a good job of hiding the damaged work, and the Movers did a number on the lovely frame that it was housed in.....

But don't be discouraged, for this print is well worth the effort it would take for someone to give it a bit of much needed tender loving  care. It's almost overdue. 

This work deserves attention and commands admiration... from more than bugs and sticky tape.

Size :  17  5/16 inches  x  12  3/4  inches.

fair amount of damage at upper right corner ... and a dozen or so tiny vintage bug holes in 1 square inch of image area ( please see photos )

 ....I took off the paper, took off the backing board and to my surprise.... TWO PRINTS !!!! One appears to be a print from the 1940's or 1950's.. wallpaper ??? This print was heavily taped to the very older one.

The hidden print  measures :  13 1/4  x  15 3/4 inches and appears to have been trimmed.

( On a positive note, most of the tape was adhered to a gray piece of OVERLAY on the elder, which had been trimmed down or cropped. )

 I have no time to spend researching "ERICH" or "ERIC H." ??? , too busy listing lots, Perhaps you do.
