I charge a $8.00 handling fee on all of my auctions which includes up to $200.00 insurance. The handling fee is to help cover the costs of materials and time. I charge Only what the shipper charges plus the handling fee. I Do Not inflate shipping charges. Shipping is quoted by Zipcode, Weight and Measurements of the package plus the $8.00 handling fee. If you feel that the shipping and handling costs are too high and do not rate 5 Stars Please Do Not Bid! I usually quote Parcel Post as I find it to be the least expensive. If you want it sent another way you need to let me know in advance! I will combine auction wins if it's safe to do so and if I know inadvance. Once the item is packed it can not be combined so please let me know ASAP if you will be bidding on another auction and I will let you know if I can combine them for you. Thank You! This auction is "Pickup Only"! If you want this radio shipped I will be happy to take it to the local UPS Store or FedEx to be packed and shipped for a $10.00 service fee. The Buyer will responsible to make all of the arrangements with the shipper and pay the shipper directly for packing and shipping.

This Antique Atwater Kent Console Tube Radio is from my Friends collection. Model Number 52. You don't find many like this! Made in 1928. The radio has a very nice case and overall a Great radio. This radio has a Metal cabinet. There is some discoloration on the top but no rust. No dents or damage that I could see. The on / off switch is broken but is an easy fix. The hole you see under the right knob is where the switch goes and the body of the switch is still attached to the wires and under the chassis. The radio is untested by me as it is missing 4 UX226 tubes. It still has the other 3 tubes in the chassis and the controls work as they should. The knobs are in good condition as is the speaker. This is a small size console with the approximate measurements at 30" X 18" X 11". If you have always been looking for a Console radio but they are always too large, this is your Radio!
