A marvelous hand woven wool tapestry from
the Aubusson region of France made in the mid 1800's. And a to die
for array of roses, cherries and peaches surrounded with aqua (blue-green)
foliage of various origins. Though this tapestry needs nothing to
enhance it's beauty we've put this large antique metallic ribbon around
the borders and a velvet frame. This is contemporary and the same for the
handmade tassel trimming from England. The back is the same velvet
as the front with a zipper in the lower edge.
