***Antique Steiff (?)***  6-JOINTED ***"PUSS 'n BOOTS"***  BLACK MOHAIR CAT  ~No Reserve!~

• Description: Here is a Wonderful Puss n' Boots Black Mohair Cat with 6-Joints with all the Steiff Characteristics & WITH ALOT OF CHARACTER & PERSONALITY PLUS!  A Very Unusual Fellow!  Personally, have not seen one exactly like him.  I assume He maybe Steiff because he has all the Characteristics of an early Steiff; He has No Button, No ID.   1) He is Black Mohair with Five Joints~Neck, Arms, Legs, AND JOINTED TAIL;   2) ORIGINAL Cardboard Soles on Bottom of each Boot with Beige Felt Foot/Boot pads/Black Felt Paw pads;  3) with ORIGINAL Red Floss Nose and ORIGINAL 5-Claw on paws/Nose; original whiskers;   4) Excelcior and soft fiber stuffed  5) Tiny hole left in ear,button hole (?)   6) Arms longer than legs, no right ear (do not know if it was made that way to accomodate a hat or missing an ear).   Made approximately from 1908 to 1920s.  There were not many Black mohair stuffed animals made years ago.  If you are certain He is not Steiff, please let me know, will welcome any information; and NEVER offered for sale till now!  Wonderful & V-E-R-Y UNUSUAL Black Mohair Puss n'Boots Cat for YOU to LOVE!!!
• Dimensions:  He is approximately 12" Tall.  Arms measure approximately 6"; arms approximately 4.5"
• Condition:  He is in overall Very Good Condition.  He has his Original Felt Pads, Black Felt on Paws (teeny pinhole visible, minor), Original Red Floss Claws and Mouth, Original Beige Felt on Soles of Boots with Cardboard visible where partially split at seams (see photos).  Old seam repair on back noted.  He has replaced glass eyes, no right ear possibly made that way to accomodate a missing hat (do not know).  There are several worn spots on his black mohair body, retaining approximately 75%-80 Black Mohair, none on his Blue Boots, string trim loose on top of one (see photo); No holes (except on left ear, button ?).   NO ODORS OF ANYKIND.  HE DEFINITELY HAS ALOT OF CHARACTER & PERSONALITY PLUS!!  AND VERY UNUSUAL!   If you are a Steiff Animal Lover, A Cat Lover and/or Puss n' Boots Enthusiast~HE IS A "MUST HAVE"!!
