Antique BOISE IDAHO FEDERAL BLDG & ACADEMY tea cup set

A great antique tea cup and saucer set depicting some historical buildings in Boise Idaho.  Tea cup is about 2" tall, saucer is about 4 1/2" wide, each depict a different building, both have the same advertising on the back side.

• Tea cup pictures and reads:  "ST. MARGARET'S ACADEMY, BOISE, IDAHO.".

• Saucer pictures and reads:  "NEW FEDERAL BUILDING BOISE, IDAHO.".

• Backside of both read:: "Made in Austria / for / M. Sellar & Co. / BOISE, IDAHO."

• Condition:  Tea cup has an ever so faint hairline coming down from top edge, saucer is perfect.

• Age:  An antique set ca. very early 1900.

• Shipping:  Buyer pays $6.01 S/H ~ more if international ~ We ship every Wednesday. So if you pay with PayPal by Tuesday evening, we will ship your item Wednesday. Payments received later than that will have to wait until the following Wednesday to ship, though we can possibly make exceptions. Regardless, your prompt payment will assure a very quick turn-around time.

On the base it mentions that this item was made for M. Sellar & Co., who was no doubt an early day Boise merchant, the Boise historians would recognise what Sellar's company was. I am not sure if these old buildings still stand, but it does say the 'NEW' federal building on the saucer, so by tracing back the time that this building was first erected, a person could date this set. Anyway, Idaho is a hard state to find much from in the way of early history/advertising, which makes this a good find, check it out!
