You are bidding on an antique Desk Magnifier.  Subject is of the classic Indian Maiden looking at her reflection in a still pool. 
I have owned this piece for many years

It seems to be colored bronze and weighs a hefty 1 lb. 7 oz.  It is 6 inches long by 3 3/4 inches wide.  The glass is 3 inches in diameter.  It has original felt pads on the bottom.  There is one very small nick near the front edge but it never got in the way.  Otherwise it is in very good shape.

On the base is the marking:  Bausch & Lomb  Rochester, NY  Des. Pat. 81359.  I have tried unsuccessfully to get help to determine just how old it might be with no luck.   Any ideas out there?
