UP FOR AUCTION TODAY COMES THIS VINTAGE MIDWEST ESTATE FIND ....... A RARE ROCKINGHAM BENNINGTON MILK PITCHER
This lovely early yelloware glaze milk pitcher is in exceptional condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The pitcher measures 6 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" from spout to handle. Please look at the top of the handle as it has a unique face on the thumb grip. Each side of the pitcher has a cameo lady embossed into the yellowware pottery, and then glazed over in the typical bennington pottery brown glaze.
The piece is not marked, however at the Southern Wisconsin Farm Sale the antique auctioneer described this as the best bennington pitcher he has ever sold.
Please look at all my unique items, as I will combine items for shipping to save postage fees.
I do charge a small handling fee to help offset the purchase of foam packing peanuts and bubble wrap. I return all feedback favors promptly.
