Dated The Athenaem Press 1900 andcopyright 1898. Contents chapters; 1 The Discoverers of the Upper Mississippi II Bearers of the Calumet III The man with the Copper Hand IV The undespairing Norman V French Settlements VI the Last Great Indian. 

This book is in good/very good condition, binding still tight. I do see a couple of stains and some cover edge wear not significant
