Antique Brass & Porcelain Picture Hanger or Nail Hook






Those Victorians really had a bright idea. The round porcelain & brass head of this picture nail simply unscrews from the iron nail, so that you can place the nail where you want it and just put the head back on. Made in the 1880's, the porcelain is in excellent condition with light crazing and the nail end is sharp. If you are hanging a picture with a long enough cord on the back, it will hang slightly forward for a real gallery look - and show off this neat antique nail. Charming!

Picture Nail is about 2 1/2" long. Top is 3/4" diameter.
