Description:

VERY cool piece still in working order.

Unit was used to hold down the edge of a carpet and tack it too the floor.

Has string powered trigger and a metal case too hold the tacks, and base to hold the rug.

Original paint designs can be seen on the base.

Written on side of tack tube is "BROWN'S PAT. FEB. 5 67" as well as on side of the tack hammer tubing

Measures Approx. 48" long 

 

Condition:

No apparent cracks, breaks or repairs can be seen.

Some of the paint or japanning has worn off of the metal areas in spots.
