Antique Brunswick Billiards Pool Table

This is a Brunswick-Balke-Collender 9 foot pool table called the 'St. Bernard Mission'. Made in the very early 1900's this model continues to be very popular because of the Arts and crafts era design and the beautiful quarter sawn oak veneer. I'm showing this table just as I got it but it does need a little shop time to be fully up to speed. The rails should be re-veneered and new ivory rail sights inlaid. Somebody worked on this 100 year old table at some point and did a fair job but there is a couple of improvements I want to make and I don't like to sell any table that is not completely 'right'.I'd like to put rosettes along the blinds to give it a showery appearance and recapping the rail tops should take a couple of weeks. This is a 4 legged version of the St Bernard but oddly, it has 1 1/2 inch thick slate. Makes it a little more valuable but also makes it a lot harder to install because of the weight. Should go in on ground level. I have sold quite of few of this same model and always much below the East coast average price of about $18,000. Will deliver anywhere for reasonable fee and install it for the buyer, as well.
