Antique CF ZIMMERMAN Hand Held Autoharp : 1894

Here is an 1894 Autoharp from the C.F. Zimmerman Company, “with simplified notation of music”. This is a hand held solid wood harp and there should be 23 strings but only 20 are intact. A few strings show some minor surface rust as do the pegs to which they are attached. It appears a wood bridge may be missing on the front but we are unsure. The bottom side has three metal “feet”. A beautiful antique instrument to restore !!

SIZE: H=18, W=9.5 inches.

CONDITION: Excellent overall. Minor wear & tear. Few strings show minor surface rust. See pics.
