Antique Carbide Bicycle Lamp Columbia Model C

You are bidding on a Antique Carbide Bicycle Lamp Columbia "Model C"

I believe it may be nickel plate on brass. See photos to judge condition.

It has Red and Green "Jewels" on opposite sides of the lens which glow when the lamp is lighted.

The lens is a magnifying glass to magnify and intensify the light and is about 3" in diameter.

It has the water fill and drip control lever on the top.

There is a "Key" on the side to control the flow of Acytelene gas generated by the water mixing with the Carbide and therefore the size/brightness of the flame.

It is approximately 6" Tall X 6 3/4" wide from the lens to the clamp bracket.

The condition is very good. See photos.

When I was a boy I used a carbide "miners lamp" when raccoon hunting. The lamp fastened to a cap with a metal bracket on the front. Good times to remember!
